There are a lot of things about church life you don’t quite realize until you get involved beyond sitting through a worship service. Committee life is one of those things. If you grow up in church, you might have a vague idea that there’s a need, people meet, and somehow things in church get done, but you never really consider what happens in between. Beyond the congregation and church staff, the committees that exist are working parts of the church’s operation. Each committee plays a key role in supporting the church staff, congregation, community, and greater United Methodist Church organization.
Calvary has many ministry teams and committees that serve the church and community in a variety of ways. All individuals are welcome and encouraged to join a team or committee that interests them. Chairpersons invite you to contact them directly if you have questions or would like to join their team or committee. You may also contact the church office directly.
